woot woot! yasss! two of my favorite sentiments and i was able to use both of them on today's card!
this could be great as a congrats - on the new job, running the 5k, or even rocking out a new recipe. we all need some celebrations every now and again, right?
this shade of blue is also new to me - with my recent restock of envelopes i ordered some coordinating cardstock and this blue is just so blue! i don't have anything like it so i'm thrilled with how it turned out.
i used a new stamp + coordinating die-cut set from mft and i am overjoyed with how well they work together and all the options that i'll have to make the dies go a little further!
using black ink, i stamped the outlines of the speech bubbles and the sentiments. woot woot! and yasss! are adhered to the black card base with flat adhesive, but i used foam tape for the you did it! bubble for some extra dimension.
i knew i had some fun tiny star glitter/sequins and so using some liquid adhesive, i added a smattering across the card front. they shine in the light and are so reflective, i just love the way they look!
they also match perfectly! i think this is a great celebratory card and i already know a few people i want to send it to!
i think that the crisp black + white are such a timeless look and the brightness of this blue just makes everything pop! add in the fact that there's a coordinating blue envelope and it's a great combination.
these will be added to the shop this weekend - i have a handful of cards left to add, i always forget that it takes a bit to load each card. that's something i'm resolving to be better at going forward.
i hope you have a great weekend ahead of you! don't forget that the virtual maker's market and the online west side flea are this weekend and there's oodles of talented makers to shop - including me!
