#the100dayproject : 64/100-2 : holiday tags

happy turkey eve friends! are you all ready for tomorrow? are you making all the things or going a little untraditional? we're making a small smorgasbord and i can't wait! bring on the carbs! like everyone else on the internet, i'm sure i'll be sharing photos of food because that's one of my favorite things to do! i love being creative in the kitchen as well as the craft castle.
speaking of the craft castle, i was busy all day long. i've been making new items that will go live on friday morning in my online shop and i'll be sharing all the details [including sales and promo codes] tomorrow!
the inspiration wheel landed on seasonal and i thought it was the perfect opportunity to bust out some more holiday tags. i'm only going to show a few sneak peeks because they will also be live on friday and i think it will be more fun to reveal them with the other items i've made all at one time.
in this first sneak peek you can see a variety of patterns and colors. these are scraps from tags that are super fun. i love combining various companies on single projects.
this next two photos are of one of my favorite tags that i've ever made. i have two varieties - similar design but different colors and patterns. they are sturdy enough to reuse for more than one year if you're careful. they are multi-layered and decorated on both the front and the back.
i think these are super fun and it doesn't even bother me that they don't have a sentiment - other than the "to: and from:" on the back. i think they would look fantastic with some classic kraft wrapping paper, accented by some baker's twine or ribbon. i have a few ideas i'll share later this weekend as well.
this example of one of the backs of the tags features the words "to: and from:" in black ink in a fun, scripty font. i just realized that i didn't include the baker's twine or ribbon that will accompany the tag - but you'll be able to see that when they go live later this weekend.
i don't give a ton of gifts but the ones i do, i like to be decorated nicely. that's one reason simple yet classy tags make me so happy. it's more about who's around the tree than the amount of presents under it.
here's hoping you have a fabulous thanksgiving - i'll be back tomorrow with so many details and updates!
