#the100dayproject : 5/100-2

the wheel landed on dry embossing today and i was so excited to add some texture to a card!

i decided to roll with a fall theme again with some pumpkins, twine and a herringbone pattern that reminds me of a warm, chunky sweater.

the color of this card base is a creamy green-blue similar to the ocean tides and while somewhat unconventional, i really like the way it turned out. each pumpkin is stamped in a different color; the green-blue, kraft and burnt orange. the smallest of the pumpkins is elevated off of the card base with foam tape for added dimension.

the left panel on the card front has been embossed with a herringbone texture and the right side of the panel has deliberately been torn. the twine that wraps around the card front [and is visible on the inside of the card] is a natural white color with flecks of gold woven throughout.

the sentiment reads "so grateful for you" and is stamped in brown ink. i think that it ties really well into the fall theme i've been working with.

this was fun to make and my only complaint was that i waited until i got home from work and it was a late night! however, i'm still happy i completed it and i'm looking forward to a fresh week of inspiration - and news i'm still working on sharing!

more tomorrow for day 6!
