day three! today's spin on the inspiration wheel landed on older product and although it's the same result as yesterday, it's okay. i have so many products both old and new and i'm just excited to be creating.
the older product that i used became the focus of this card and is a rainbow shaped die-cut from mft. it's whimsical and wonky and i just love it, especially when it's paired with glittery, shimmery, brightly colored cardstock!
the size of this card is a mini slimline and as i mentioned on day one, it's one of my new favorite sizes! it's just so cute and adorable. a white card base is neutral and allows the various colors of glittery shimmery goodness to shine. there are 5 cards in this style and each rainbow is slightly different. beneath the die-cut rainbow is the sentiment "be kind to yourself" next to a small heart.
there's a lot of white space [literally and figuratively] on this card but i love it. i love the message, i love the color and i love the overall vibe.
i think that the message on this handmade card says it all - sometimes we need a little reminder to not be so hard on ourselves, not compare to what we see online and to just be kind. i'm all about the kindness vibe as well as the snail mail vibe.
fingers crossed for a new topic on the wheel tomorrow - only because i have so many ideas!
3 days down, 97 to go! thanks for continuing to follow along - it makes my heart so happy!
