#the100dayproject : 2022 : 25/100 - with gratitude

day 25 - a quarter of the way through this project - holy macaroni!
time is flying by and standing still all at the same time! today's card follows the sketch of a card i made years ago that sold out pretty quickly. the result of today's spin on the inspiration wheel was embossed and i decided to dry emboss the card front to give it some deep texture.
a bright pink card base features a deeply embossed pattern of swiss dots, an all-over polka dotted pattern. near the bottom of the card front is the sentiment "with gratitude" which is stamped in crisp black ink. this would be a wonderful addition to have on hand for when you need to express some gratitude towards someone. i mean come on, who doesn't appreciate a nice thank you card?
the main focal point of the card might be the large circle which is double layered; the aqua layer is flat against the card base while the floral layer has been elevated off of the aqua layer with foam tape. i used a colorful patterned paper so each card will be slightly different in terms of colors of flowers, but the overall design will be the same.
maybe it's the start of spring, but i think this card is just so bright and cheery. plus, the addition of the texture is super fun and it's visible on the inside of the card.
25 cards down and 75 more to go! woot woot!
